Gentle Dental is hiring an Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator to guide patients from initial consultation through treatment acceptance and scheduling. You will work closely with orthodontists and clinical teams to explain treatment plans, insurance benefits, financing, and payment options while building trust and ensuring a positive patient experience.

The role emphasizes presenting treatment plans, overcoming financial barriers, and coordinating start dates with families.

Competenze

• Minimum 1 year orthodontic experience
• 1+ years of dental/medical front office experience
• Experience presenting treatment plans and discussing treatment costs with patients/families
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Comfortable discussing fees, insurance benefits, financing, and payment options
• Strong follow-up skills and ability to guide patients toward treatment decisions
• Consultative sales experience a plus
• Strong organization and attention to detail
• Proficient with computers and practice management systems
• Bilingual skills a plus

Mansioni

• Create welcoming orthodontic consultation experience for patients and families
• Build rapport and understand treatment goals and concerns
• Partner with orthodontist to present treatment plans clearly
• Explain treatment options, timelines, expectations, and next steps
• Present treatment fees, insurance benefits, financing, and payment options
• Help patients overcome financial or scheduling barriers to starting treatment
• Establish treatment schedules and coordinate start appointments
• Follow up with patients who have completed consultations but not started treatment
• Maintain accurate treatment plan information in the PM system
• Track consultations, pending treatment, and treatment starts
• Understand insurance plans, benefits, exclusions, and limitations
• Submit predeterminations to third-party providers
• Communicate insurance status and patient financial responsibility
• Collaborate with orthodontists and office leadership to support care and goals
• Deliver exceptional patient experience from consultation through treatment
