Smile Straight Orthodontics (Greenville) within Kids Dental Brands is seeking a Back Office Manager to lead and support the clinical team, ensuring a smooth patient and family experience in a modern, kid‑focused environment.

This role oversees day‑to‑day operations, staffing, scheduling, and KPIs, while promoting a collaborative culture and ongoing professional development. Monday–Friday, with no nights or weekends, in a community‑minded office dedicated to accessible pediatric care.

Qualifications

• 1+ year as Dental Office Manager or 3+ years as Orthodontic Assistant
• Experience leading teams and supporting operational performance goals
• Current CPR/BLS Certification
• State Board-approved dental assisting credential
• State Board-approved or DANB-approved dental radiology credential

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the clinical team to deliver an exceptional patient and family experience.
• Oversee day‑to‑day clinical operations, including staffing, scheduling, and workflow management.
• Promote efficient patient flow and support same-day care opportunities when appropriate.
• Develop, train, and coach clinical team members while fostering a positive and accountable work environment.
• Help drive office performance by monitoring KPIs, supporting practice goals, and promoting a collaborative team environment.
• Partner with providers and leaders to support operational efficiency, patient satisfaction, and practice growth.
• Maintain accurate orthodontic treatment records, patient charts, and clinical documentation.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, clinical standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure patients and families receive clear treatment, oral hygiene, and post‑operative education.
• Oversee the operational readiness, organization, and efficiency of the clinical department.
• Manage clinical supply inventory, equipment maintenance, and vendor relationships.
• Support clinical procedures and provide chairside assistance as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment throughout the office.
