Job summary

Ideal Dental is seeking an Orthodontic Manager to lead the specialty team and ensure exceptional patient care. The role reports to the Specialty Regional Manager and focuses on guest experience, effective communication, and alignment with the organization’s mission and values.

The candidate will oversee front and back office operations, manage staff schedules, verify insurance, present treatment plans, and drive revenue through efficient workflow and continuous team development.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Orthodontics experience.
• Minimum of 1 year dental management experience preferred.
• Experience with treatment plans required.
• Insurance verification experience required.
• Digital practice software experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients with a smile.
• Answer phones and schedule appointments with a positive attitude.
• Maintain flexibility regarding scheduling changes and communicate them to patients and staff.
• Maintain office schedule flow and full schedules.
• Collect balances and verify insurance when needed.
• Present accurate treatment plans and discuss insurance coverage and patient financial responsibility.
• Review upcoming schedules and audit accounts as needed.
• Coordinate patient check-in and check-out.
• Support office operations and staff coordination.
• Motivate the Endodontic Team to achieve revenue goals.
• Oversee Front/Back-office staff and daily workflows.
• Encourage continuous learning for the Endodontic Team.
• Complete reports accurately and timely.
