Job summary

Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry seeks an Ortho Assistant to work closely with our dentists to ensure a high-quality dental practice. The role involves preparing the treatment room, instruments, and materials, supporting patients, and passing tools as needed during procedures.

The ideal candidate will assist with treatment planning, manage appointments, and maintain inventory while upholding the clinic's high standards of care.

Qualifications

• DAII training or equivalent required or preferred.
• Experience as a Dental Assistant is beneficial.
• X-ray certification and CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment room, instruments and materials.
• Assist dentist during procedures and pass instruments as needed.
• Present treatment plans and insurance information to patients.
• Schedule patient appointments and manage calendars.
• Maintain instruments, supplies, and equipment; sterilize after procedures.
