Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry in Rock Hill, SC is seeking an experienced chairside Dental Assistant who prides themselves on reliability, presence, and patient care. You will work closely with dentists to support procedures, help patients understand treatment options, and keep the schedule full and productive.

Qualifications

• Chairside dental assisting experience required.
• Experience presenting treatment plans and discussing financial arrangements with patients.
• Experience scheduling chairside, confirming appointments, and managing a provider schedule.
• Working knowledge of dental insurance and procedure terminology.
• Radiography certification / state-required credentials applicable.
• CPR/BLS current or willingness to obtain.
• Denticon experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Assist the dentist chairside across general and restorative procedures.
• Take radiographs and impressions, and chart accurately.
• Set up, break down, and turnover operatories on schedule.
• Sterilize instruments and follow OSHA and infection control standards.
• Present treatment plans and explain recommendations in plain language.
• Discuss fees, insurance estimates, and payment or financing options with patients.
• Schedule the patient’s next visit while in the chair to avoid gaps.
• Confirm upcoming appointments by phone and text to reduce no-shows.
• Fill openings and cancellations, and follow up on unscheduled treatment.
• Coordinate handoff with the front desk to avoid slips.
• Support teammates wherever the day needs you.
