Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry is seeking an experienced chairside Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our team in a fast-paced, patient-centered practice. You will support the orthodontist chairside, explain treatment options in clear terms, and help patients understand costs and financing.

The role emphasizes reliability, in-person presence, professional presentation, and teamwork. You will help maintain a smooth schedule and coordinate with the front desk to ensure every patient

Qualifications

• Reliability with predictable attendance and punctuality
• Hands-on, in-person engagement and focus on patient care
• Ability to discuss treatment costs and insurance with patients
• Team player who supports the office and shares responsibilities
• Comfort talking about cost clearly without pressure, and manage scheduling from chairside
• Capable of maintaining professional appearance and hygiene standards

Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontist chairside during procedures with clinical support
• Take radiographs and impressions; chart accurately
• Set up and break down operatories; ensure sterile environment
• Present treatment plans and explain recommendations in plain language
• Discuss fees, insurance estimates, and financing options with patients
• Schedule next visits and confirm appointments to minimize no-shows
• Coordinate handoff with front desk to prevent gaps in care
• Support teammates as needed throughout the day
