Job summary

Lone Peak Dental Group in Youngstown, OH is seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to join our pediatric-focused team. You will support orthodontists, prepare rooms, and help with X-rays and patient education in a friendly, kid-centered environment.

The role is full-time (30+ hours/week) with a schedule that may include some Saturdays. Training provided for the right candidate with a passion for creating positive patient experiences.

Qualifications

• X-ray and CPR certification is required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in an ortho practice preferred, but we will train the right person.
• Completion of an accredited orthodontic assistant program preferred.
• Experience with Denticon software or iTero scanners is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms for orthodontic procedures.
• Assist orthodontists during patient appointments and procedures.
• Take and develop dental X-rays.
• Maintain orthodontic instruments and equipment.
• Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene and care techniques.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and assist with patient scheduling.
• Keep accurate patient records and documentation.
• Ensuring smooth patient flow and maintaining a kid-friendly environment.

• Some Saturdays may be required
• Daytime hours – No nights!
