Lone Peak Dental Group in Mesa, Arizona is seeking a passionate Orthodontic Assistant to join their team at A Tooth Dr for Kids. This role involves preparing treatment rooms, assisting orthodontists, and ensuring a positive experience for children. Ideal candidates have 1+ years of experience in orthodontics, though training is available. Flexible part-time hours, benefits, and a commitment to creating healthy habits for kids are offered. Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in an ortho practice is preferred, but we will train the right person.
• Completion of an accredited orthodontic assistant program preferred but not needed.
• Additional certification or training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms for orthodontic procedures.
• Assist orthodontists during patient appointments and procedures.
• Take and develop dental X-rays.
• Maintain orthodontic instruments and equipment.
• Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene and care techniques.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and assist with patient scheduling.
• Keep accurate patient records and documentation.
• Ensure smooth patient flow and maintain a kid-friendly environment.

Schedule:

• Friday's and Monday's with a possibility of more days if needed.
• Daytime hours – No nights!
