Job summary

Lone Peak Dental Group is seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to join our pediatric specialty team. You will support orthodontists, prepare rooms, take X-rays, and help maintain equipment while delivering a positive, kid-friendly patient experience.

The role emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and a willingness to travel to Tacoma as needed. The position is part-time, primarily Mondays and Tuesdays, with potential Saturdays, offering medical, dental, vision, 401K, and CE benefits.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of orthodontic experience are required.
• Completion of an accredited orthodontic assistant program preferred.
• Experience with Denticon software is a plus.
• Part-time role, primarily Mondays and Tuesdays; occasional Saturdays.
• Travel to the Tacoma office when needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms for orthodontic procedures.
• Assist orthodontists during patient appointments and procedures.
• Take dental X-rays.
• Maintain orthodontic instruments and equipment.
• Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene and care techniques.
• Keep accurate patient records and documentation.
• Ensure smooth patient flow.

Requirements:

• 2 - 3+ Years of Orthodontic experience is required

Schedule:

• 8-5 on Tuesdays, some Mondays
