Job summary

Pearls 4 Kids Dentistry & Orthodontics in Washington is seeking an Orthodontic Assistant who loves working with children and thrives in a team-based setting. You will support clinicians during procedures, take X-rays, and help maintain a friendly, efficient patient flow.

This part-time role (Mondays and Tuesdays, with Tuesday 8-5 and some Saturdays) offers competitive pay, medical/dental benefits, and opportunities for continuing education. Travel to Tacoma when needed is required.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of orthodontic experience required.
• Completion of an accredited orthodontic assistant program preferred.
• Experience with Denticon software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms for orthodontic procedures.
• Assist orthodontists during patient appointments and procedures.
• Take dental X-rays.
• Maintain orthodontic instruments and equipment.
• Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene and care techniques.
• Keep accurate patient records and documentation.
• Ensure smooth patient flow.

Requirements

• 2 - 3+ Years of Orthodontic experience is required

• Part-Time role (primarily Monday and Tuesdays)
• Traveling to the Tacoma office when needed is a requirement

A Typical Day As An Orthodontic Assistant

Schedule

• 8-5 on Tuesdays, some Mondays
