Job summary

Lone Peak Dental Group is seeking an orthodontic assistant for a part-time role in the Des Moines, WA area. The position requires reliability, energy, compassion, and a team mindset to support pediatric patients and their caregivers.

Responsibilities include assisting during appointments, preparing rooms, and maintaining equipment. Some travel to the Tacoma office is required, with a schedule primarily on Mondays and Tuesdays and occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years of orthodontic experience required.
• Completion of an accredited orthodontic assistant program preferred.
• Experience with Denticon software is a plus.

• Assist orthodontists during patient appointments and procedures.

Requirements:

• 2 - 3+ Years of Orthodontic experience is required
• Completion of an accredited orthodontic assistant program preferred
• Additional certification or training is a plus
• Experience with Denticon software is a plus.
• Part-Time role (primarily Monday and Tuesdays)
• Traveling to the Tacoma office when needed is a requirement

A Typical Day as an Orthodontic Assistant:

• Prepare treatment rooms for orthodontic procedures.
• Assist orthodontists during patient appointments and procedures.
• Maintain orthodontic instruments and equipment.
• Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene and care techniques.
• Keep accurate patient records and documentation.

Schedule:

• 8-5 on Tuesdays, some Mondays
• Some Saturdays may be required
