Job summary

Lone Peak Dental Group in Spartanburg is hiring an Orthodontic Assistant to support our pediatric patients at Novus Orthodontics. If you love working with kids and keeping visits fun, you’ll fit right in.

Responsibilities include preparing treatment rooms, assisting clinicians, taking and developing X-rays, and maintaining instruments. X-ray and CPR certification are required; 1 year in ortho preferred, training available.

Qualifications

• X-ray and CPR certification is required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in an ortho practice is preferred, but we will train the right person.
• Experience with Cloud 9 software or iTero scanners is a plus.

• Assist orthodontists during patient appointments and procedures.
• Take and develop dental X-rays.
• Maintain orthodontic instruments and equipment.
• Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene and care techniques.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and assist with patient scheduling.
• Keep accurate patient records and documentation.
