Job summary

Kids Dental Brands is seeking an Orthodontic Assistant for our Wilmington office. You will work chair-side with the orthodontist, assist with patient care, and handle laboratory duties in a kid-friendly, modern facility.

No previous experience is required, but a Dental Assistant certification (CDA/RDA) is mandatory; X-ray certification is a plus. This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday on-site schedule and opportunities for growth.

• X-ray certification is a plus.
• No previous experience required but must have Dental Assistant certification.

Responsibilities

• Work chair-side with Orthodontist, perform patient care and lab duties.
• Preparing and taking patient molds.
• Changing out rubber bands, wires and brackets.
• Adjusting fit of clear aligners such as Invisalign.
• Take and process dental radiographs (x-rays).
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Teach patients oral hygiene strategies to maintain health.
• Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after treatment.
• Provide post-procedure oral care instructions.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

• Helppatients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment
• Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures

Compensation and Schedule

• Salary:Starting at $19.00 depending on certifications. Additional increases for experience
• Bonus Pay:up to $300 additional per month
• Schedule:On-site. Monday - Friday
