Job summary

Pediatric Dental Group & Adventure Vision in Tulsa, OK is seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to support our orthodontists with high-quality chair-side care, bonding, archwire placement, and appliance delivery. You will help maintain a clean, friendly clinical environment and assist with patient history in our EHR system.

The ideal candidate has radiology training, strong interpersonal skills, and prior dental office experience; BLS CPR certification is required.

• Ability to multi-task and complete dental tasks accurately and promptly.
• Familiarity with e-Clinical Works (eCW) is a plus.

Pediatric Dental Group & Adventure Vision in Tulsa, OK, is currently seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to provide efficient, high-quality care to our patients. This position will report to the Lead Orthodontic Assistant.

Pay range: $21-$25/hr

Job Responsibilities

• Provide orthodontist with excellent chair-side assistance by fitting orthodontic bands, setting up bonding, placing archwires, delivering appliances, and removing braces in a timely manner
• Collect and record patient medical history in Electronic Healthcare Records (EHR) system
• Collaborate with others to provide high-quality care and experience for our patients and their families
• Ensure practice is clean and presentable to patients to include cleaning restrooms, patient lobby, mopping, vacuuming, dusting etc.
• Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children

Minimum Qualifications

• Radiology education and training that meets state requirements
• Strong interpersonal skills, including a friendly outgoing demeanor and the ability to actively listen to patients and parents
• Ability to multi-task and complete dental tasks correctly and in a timely manner
• Knowledge of e-Clinical Works (eCW) a plus
• Previous experience working in a dental office preferred
• Current BLS CPR certification
