Job summary

Pediatric Dental Group & Adventure Vision in Tulsa, OK, is seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to provide efficient, high-quality care to our patients. This role reports to the Lead Orthodontic Assistant.

Qualifications

• Radiology education and training that meets state requirements.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including a friendly outgoing demeanor and the ability to actively listen to patients and parents.
• Ability to multi-task and complete dental tasks correctly and in a timely manner.
• Knowledge of e-Clinical Works (eCW) a plus.
• Previous experience working in a dental office preferred.
• Current BLS CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide chair-side orthodontic assistance by fitting bands, setting up bonding, placing archwires, delivering appliances, and removing braces in a timely manner.
• Collect and record patient medical history in Electronic Health Records (EHR) system.
• Collaborate with others to provide high-quality care and experience for our patients and their families.
• Ensure the practice is clean and presentable to patients including restrooms, lobby, cleaning, vacuuming and dusting.
• Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children.

Pediatric Dental Group & Adventure Vision in Tulsa, OK, is currently seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to provide efficient, high-quality care to our patients. This position will report to the Lead Orthodontic Assistant.

Pay range: $21-$25/hr

Job Responsibilities

• Provide orthodontist with excellent chair-side assistance by fitting orthodontic bands, setting up bonding, placing archwires, delivering appliances, and removing braces in a timely manner
• Collect and record patient medical history in Electronic Healthcare Records (EHR) system
• Collaborate with others to provide high-quality care and experience for our patients and their families
• Ensure practice is clean and presentable to patients to include cleaning restrooms, patient lobby, mopping, vacuuming, dusting etc.
• Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children
