Job summary

Adventure Dental, Vision, & Orthodontics in Commerce City, Colorado is seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to provide efficient, high-quality chair-side support and to help deliver comprehensive care to patients and families. The role reports to the Lead Orthodontic Assistant and requires radiology training and a patient-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Radiology education and training that meets state requirements.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to listen to patients and parents.
• Ability to multi-task and complete dental tasks accurately and promptly.
• Knowledge of e-Clinical Works (eCW) is a plus.
• Previous experience in a dental office is preferred.
• Current BLS CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide chair-side orthodontic assistance by fitting bands, bonding, archwires, appliances, and braces.
• Record patient medical history in the EHR system.
• Collaborate to deliver high-quality care for patients and families.
• Ensure the practice is clean and presentable, including restrooms and lobby.
• Support the mission of providing high-quality dental, vision, and orthodontic services.

Adventure Dental, Vision, & Orthodontics in Commerce City, Colorado are currently seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to provide efficient, high-quality care to our patients. This position will report to the Lead Orthodontic Assistant.

Pay range: $17-$28/hr

Job Responsibilities

• Provide orthodontist with excellent chair-side assistance by fitting orthodontic bands, setting up bonding, placing archwires, delivering appliances, and removing braces in a timely manner
• Collect and record patient medical history in Electronic Healthcare Records (EHR) system
• Collaborate with others to provide high-quality care and experience for our patients and their families
• Ensure practice is clean and presentable to patients to include cleaning restrooms, patient lobby, mopping, vacuuming, dusting etc.
• Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children

Minimum Qualifications

• Radiology education and training that meets state requirements
• Strong interpersonal skills, including a friendly outgoing demeanor and the ability to actively listen to patients and parents
• Ability to multi-task and complete dental tasks correctly and in a timely manner
• Knowledge of e-Clinical Works (eCW) a plus
• Previous experience working in a dental office preferred
• Current BLS CPR certification
