Job summary

Adventure Dental, Vision, & Orthodontics in Albuquerque, NM is seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to provide efficient, high-quality care to our patients. This position reports to the Lead Orthodontic Assistant and offers generous pay with bonus opportunities along with full benefits.

Responsibilities include chair-side assistance, recording patient histories in the EHR, maintaining a clean, welcoming practice, and supporting the team in delivering compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic

Qualifications

• Radiology education and training that meets state requirements.
• Strong interpersonal skills, friendly demeanor, and the ability to actively listen to patients and parents.
• Ability to multi-task and complete dental tasks correctly and in a timely manner.
• Knowledge of e-Clinical Works (eCW) a plus.
• Previous experience working in a dental office preferred.
• Current BLS CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide orthodontist with excellent chair-side assistance by fitting orthodontic bands, setting up bonding, placing archwires, delivering appliances, and removing braces in a timely manner
• Collect and record patient medical history in Electronic Health Records (EHR) system
• Collaborate with others to provide high-quality care and experience for our patients and their families
• Ensure practice is clean and presentable to patients to include cleaning restrooms, patient lobby, mopping, vacuuming, dusting etc.
• Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children

Adventure Dental, Vision, & Orthodontics in Albuquerque, NM are currently seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to provide efficient, high-quality care to our patients. This position will report to the Lead Orthodontic Assistant.

Pay range: $17-$25/hr (AND BONUS OPPORTUNITY)
