Job summary

Join Lone Peak Dental Group as an Orthodontic Assistant in Spartanburg, SC. You’ll prepare treatment rooms, assist orthodontists, take X‑rays, and help create a kid‑friendly, stress‑free visit for every patient.

The ideal candidate holds X‑ray and CPR certifications, has at least 1 year of ortho experience (training available), and is eager to learn using Cloud 9 or iTero systems. This part‑time role offers a friendly team, daytime hours, and benefits including 401K and CE opportunities.

Qualifications

• X-ray and CPR certification required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in an ortho practice preferred, but we will train the right person.
• Experience with Cloud 9 software or iTero scanners is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms for orthodontic procedures.
• Assist orthodontists during patient appointments and procedures.
• Take and develop dental X-rays.
• Maintain orthodontic instruments and equipment.
• Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene and care techniques.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and assist with patient scheduling.
• Keep accurate patient records and documentation.
• Ensuring smooth patient flow and maintaining a kid-friendly environment.
