Job summary

Lone Peak Dental Group in Spartanburg is seeking an Orthodontic Assistant who loves working with kids and teens. You’ll support clinicians, prepare rooms, take X-rays, assist during procedures, and help create a fun, stress-free visit for families. Qualifications include X-ray and CPR certification; 1 year orthodontic experience preferred, with onsite training.

Requirements

• X-ray and CPR certification is required
• Minimum 1 year experience in an ortho practice is preferred, but we will train the right person!
• Experience with Cloud 9 software or iTero scanners is a plus.

A Typical Day As An Orthodontic Assistant

• Prepare treatment rooms for orthodontic procedures.
• Assist orthodontists during patient appointments and procedures.
• Take and develop dental X-rays.
• Maintain orthodontic instruments and equipment.
• Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene and care techniques.
• Schedule follow‑up appointments and assist with patient scheduling.
• Keep accurate patient records and documentation.
• Ensuring smooth patient flow and maintaining a kid‑friendly environment.

Schedule
