Job summary

Lone Peak Dental Group in Florence, SC is seeking an Orthodontic Assistant who loves working with kids and teens and wants a fun, stress-free dental visit.

You will support orthodontists, prepare rooms, take X-rays, and help with scheduling while keeping patient records accurate. Certification in X-ray and CPR is required, with a preference for ortho experience.

We offer a daytime, part-time schedule, a friendly team, and benefits including 401K, PTO, and CE opportunities.

Qualifications

• X-ray and CPR certification is required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in an ortho practice preferred.
• Completion of an accredited orthodontic assistant program preferred.
• Experience with Denticon or iTero is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms for orthodontic procedures.
• Assist orthodontists during patient appointments and procedures.
• Take and develop dental X-rays.
• Maintain orthodontic instruments and equipment.
• Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene and care techniques.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and assist with patient scheduling.
• Keep accurate patient records and documentation.
• Ensure smooth patient flow and a kid-friendly environment.
