Job summary

Arthrex Chicago is seeking a Territory Manager to drive sales within a defined territory by building strong surgeon relationships and leading a sales team. You will consult surgeons in the operating room about implants and instruments, develop territory strategies, and forecast opportunities using CRM data.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in Arthrex sales or a comparable medical device environment, plus experience managing a team and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required unless prior medical device or surgical technician experience.
• 2+ years of Arthrex sales experience or another competitive Medical Device Company (1+ years managing a team).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Aptitude for highly technical medical information related to surgical procedures and equipment.
• Adaptable to fast-paced environments with a strong sense of urgency.
• Must be comfortable in surgery/operating room.
• Knowledge of orthopedic surgical cases.
• Strong public speaking and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to relate to health care professionals within orthopedic/sports medicine market.

Responsibilities

• Achieve predetermined territory sales goals and quotas.
• Build and maintain relationships with surgeons and healthcare professionals in the operating room.
• Oversee the team in collaboration with Area Manager to meet territory objectives.
• Consult with surgeons in the operating room regarding Arthrex implants and instruments.
• Develop and implement sales strategies with each team member to exceed goals.
• Maintain an accurate CRM database with forecasting, lead generation, and account management.
• Coach and mentor Sales Associates; conduct annual reviews and performance plans.
• Attend leadership and sales meetings outside regular hours as required.
