Job summary

Spire Orthopedic Partners is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist for a per diem position in Peabody, MA. You will assist the RN in operating room care plans, perform scrub duties, maintain aseptic technique, and help manage instruments and supplies to ensure smooth procedures.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, surgical technologist certification, and 1–3 years OR experience, with orthopedics knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; surgical technologist certification required.
• 1–3 years operating room experience; ambulatory surgical center experience a plus; orthopedics experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the RN in implementing a care plan for the patient in the Operating Room.
• Performs scrub duties under supervision of the RN.
• Maintains aseptic technique and prepares room and instruments for procedures.
• Assist with positioning patients and transporting them to the OR.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort and manage supplies and equipment during procedures.
