Job summary

Spire Orthopedic Partners is seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician to manage daily sterile Central operations in Peabody, MA. Responsibilities include decontamination, assembly of kits, sterilization processes, and inventory management to support the Surgical Center’s daily schedule.

The role requires a high school diploma (Central Services Technician preferred) and 2+ years of related experience, with knowledge of HIPAA and medical terminology.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two or more years of related experience in sterile processing or OR settings.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, insurance regulations, and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Clean, disinfect and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Package, store and distribute sterile medical devices.
• Monitor and maintain Sterile Central inventory and supplies.
• Coordinate with surgical center staff to ensure timely availability of equipment.
• Follow universal precautions and infection control guidelines.
• Assist in Wet Labs preparation and related tasks.
