Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Massachusetts RN license.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates process of patient management in the surgical center.
• Performs pre-operative calls to patients.
• Assists with pre-op assessment and teaching.
• Monitors and supports intraoperative nursing care.
• Maintains sterile fields and adheres to asepsis standards.
• Documents patient records clearly and accurately.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, staff and physicians.
