Job summary

Spire Orthopedic Partners is hiring a Per Diem Surgical Technologist to assist in the Operating Room. You will support the RN, perform scrub duties, maintain aseptic technique, and anticipate surgeon needs with instrument and supply readiness.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of an approved surgical technologist program, with 1–3 years OR experience preferred, particularly in orthopedics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an approved surgical technologist certification program.
• 1–3 years operating room experience preferred; orthopedics experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and medical office procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist the RN in implementing the care plan for the patient in the Operating Room.
• Performs scrub duties under supervision of the RN.
• Maintain aseptic technique and assist with instrument handling.
• Assist with positioning and transporting patients to the OR.
• Ensure equipment and supplies are stocked and ready for cases.
