Illinois Bone and Joint Institute, LLC is seeking a Surgical Technologist/Surgical Assistant to support surgeons during operations and provide comprehensive pre- and post-operative patient care. The role involves setting up instruments, maintaining sterile technique, and collaborating with nurses and physicians to ensure patient safety.

The position requires graduation from an accredited surgical technology program, BLS within 6 months, and orthopedic experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Surgical Technology Program or equivalent training.
• Demonstrates strong aseptic technique and patient care during procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, procedures, and clinical documentation.

Responsabilités

• Assist surgeons during operations and provide pre-/post-operative patient care.
• Set up operating room and instruments; ensure sterile field.
• Assist anesthesia during intraoperative procedures and position patients.
• Communicate with nursing staff and physicians to ensure timely patient care.
• Maintain equipment functionality and room cleanliness.
