Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate surgical cases with tests and arrangements.
• Recommend surgery times to physicians ensuring adequate space and time.
• Ensure proper scheduling in appropriate area per guidelines.
• Prepare patient reports for physicians and department.
• Maintain knowledge of scheduling software used in the process (Cycare, Clinipac, McCormick-Dodge OR Scheduler).
• Review future schedules based on physicians' schedules to optimize OR use.
• Process incoming/outgoing surgery documents and forms.
• Provide patient guidance on logistics, insurance, and pre-certifications; arrange accommodations as needed.
• Perform other duties incidental to the work described herein.
