Job summary

Stryker is hiring an Intern, Ortho Sales in San Jose to gain hands-on exposure to medical technologies and sales operations. You will shadow experienced team members, assist in routing and kit prep, and participate in project work across branches.

The role emphasizes developing selling skills, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration while supporting a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. Applicants are pursuing a bachelor’s degree and must meet residency requirements.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a related field; enrollment planned after summer.
• Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above preferred.
• U.S. permanent resident or citizen required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities with enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

• Shadow Sales Associates, Sales Representatives, and Operations Team Members to learn branch operations.
• Prepare a project segment to develop a target account list or marketing strategy.
• Learn selling skills with coaching from Sales team and Managers.
• Shadow and assist drivers with kit deliveries to accounts.
• Assist warehouse team in assembling and breaking down instrument kits.
• Interact with cross-functional teams about products and processes.
• Support Sales and Field Ops on special projects as assigned.
