Job summary

Stryker is seeking an Intern in Ortho Sales to join a team focused on medical technology and market development. You’ll shadow sales and operations to learn the branch, prepare targeted account lists, and contribute to marketing strategies, while developing selling skills and instrument-use knowledge.

You’ll gain hands-on experience supporting field teams, coordinating with multiple departments, and building professional competencies in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a related field with plans to enroll after summer.
• Cumulative GPA 3.0 or above preferred.
• Must be a permanent resident or U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Shadow Sales Associates, Sales Representatives, and Operations Team Members to gain insight into all aspects of the branch; Attend and/or prepare a sales presentation.
• Prepare a project segment that develops a target account list and/or marketing potential or strategy.
• Learn selling skills, processes, and instrument-use techniques with coaching from Sales team members.
• Shadow and assist Team Members in delivering kits to and from accounts.
• Assist Team Members in warehouse in assembling and breaking down instrument kits and preparing products for surgery.
• Interact with various teams concerning the products and assist on special projects.
