Job summary

Carle Health’s NT4 unit seeks an experienced RN to support a 41-bed unit handling total joint replacements and complex trauma care. This role includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus for external applicants and a commitment to comprehensive patient care and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days is required.
• RN license must be active with IL licensing board (IDFPR) and valid.
• Nursing Diploma and Associate's Degree required.
• RN >1 year of work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs all responsibilities and duties required by unit as specific to the scope of service.
• Implements procedures and theories related to the specific area of practice.
• Maintains up-to-date documentation of nursing care for care team integration.
• Completes initial patient assessment and develops a care plan per unit standards.
• Implements care plans and nursing interventions, ensuring patient and staff safety.
