Qualifications

• Associates degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
• ARRT certification and state licensure preferred.
• 1 year of imaging experience preferred.
• Ability to operate radiology equipment with strong radiation safety.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient history and document for licenced practitioner.
• Position patient to optimize imaging while ensuring comfort.
• Apply radiation safety principles to minimize exposure.
• Perform radiographic procedures using imaging equipment and accessories.
• Verify informed consent and complete documentation.
• Assist licensed practitioner with fluoroscopic procedures.
• Follow policy for timeouts and sterile technique as needed.
• Prepare medications/contrast as prescribed.
