Job summary

TriHealth’s Orthopedic & Spine team is hiring a Scheduling Coordinator and Medical Assistant to support outpatient operations across multiple clinics. You will handle scheduling, patient intake, basic clinical tasks, and front-end coordination with physicians and departments.

The role requires Medical Assistant duties, EKG, injections, venipuncture, and strong clerical skills; experience in a medical office is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Degree in Healthcare.
• Clerical background with general computer skills and knowledge in medical terminology.
• Experience in medical/physician office setting.

Responsibilities

• Performs scheduling of participants for specialist and routine appointments across three sites.
• Coordinates scheduling within nursing, transportation and therapy departments.
• Assists physicians with examinations and basic procedures.
• Maintains medical records and communicates with patients and departments.
• Ensures accuracy of scheduling paperwork and timely messages to stakeholders.
• Maintains clean, safe treatment areas and supports the care team.
