Job summary

TriHealth’s Orthopedic & Spine team is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator and Medical Assistant to work alongside providers in outpatient settings. You will perform clerical duties, support scheduling for multiple departments, and assist with patient care in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a high school healthcare degree, basic computer skills, and comfort with medical terminology. You’ll handle vitals, injections, EKG, venipuncture, and prepare treatment rooms while delivering

Qualifications

High School Degree in Healthcare.
Clerical background with general computer skills and Knowledge in medical terminology.
EKG.
Injections.
Venipuncture.
Performance of common lab tests according to establish CLIA guidelines and TriHealth policy.
Experience in medical/physician office setting.

Responsibilities

Scheduling participants for specialist and routine appointments across multiple departments and sites.
Coordinate scheduling within nursing, transportation and therapy at three sites; manage medical records for participants.
Assist the physician in examination and treatment of patients; measure vitals and prepare rooms.
Maintain safety and cleanliness; demonstrate sterile procedure knowledge.
