Trinity Health IHA Medical Group in Michigan seeks a compassionate Medical Assistant to support providers in delivering high-quality patient care. You will welcome patients, document vitals, assist with exams, tests, and specimen collection, and help coordinate care.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED with MA training (externship/internship) or EMT/Paramedic training; CPR certification is encouraged. This is a full-time, day-shift position with day-one benefits.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED with MA training/externship/internship.
• EMT or Paramedic training acceptable.
• CPR certification encouraged and up to date.
• 1 year clinical experience preferred or 0-1 year with related education.

Aufgaben

• Welcome and prepare patients for appointments.
• Collect patient histories, vital signs, and health information.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, testing, and specimen collection.
• Administer medications and perform diagnostic testing as directed.
• Communicate test results and provider instructions to patients.
• Provide patient and family education to support better health outcomes.
• Coordinate care and act as liaison between patients and providers.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and disease management programs.
