Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group in Michigan seeks a compassionate Medical Assistant to support providers, greet patients, and assist with exams, testing, and specimen collection. You will document histories, vitals, and test results while coordinating care and education.

The ideal candidate has 0–1 year of clinical experience or equivalent, completes an MA program or EMT/Paramedic path, and holds CPR certification. Day shift, full-time with benefits.

Qualifications

• 0–1 year of clinical experience or equivalent preferred.
• MA program/externship/internship required or EMT/Paramedic pathway.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and prepare patients for appointments.
• Document patient histories, vital signs, and health information.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, testing, and specimen collection.
• Administer medications and perform diagnostic testing as directed.
• Communicate test results and provider instructions to patients.
• Provide patient and family education to support better health outcomes.
• Coordinate care between patients and providers.
• Support quality improvement and disease management programs.
• Handle test tracking, task management, and supply/medication ordering.
