Job summary

Illinois Bone & Joint Institute is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to act as liaison between physicians, patients, families, and staff. You will support scheduling, chart preparation, and coordination of records and deposits to ensure smooth patient care.

The role requires strong organizational skills, medical terminology knowledge, and proficient computer/office software use in a fast-paced environment. Base salary offers along with comprehensive health benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Typing speed of 40 wpm with good spelling is required.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incoming physician-related calls and route to appropriate staff.
• Secure and organize charts and reports for patient visits and tests.
• Register and assist in scheduling appointments for new and established patients.
• Coordinate depositions by ensuring patient records are available and up to date.
• Prepare patient-related correspondence, requests and records as needed.
• Maintain physician schedules and assist with on-call shifts and schedule changes.
