Job summary

The successful candidate will ensure the safe immobilization of injuries or post-surgical sites while educating patients on device care and supporting clinic operations.

The role includes documentation of procedures and compliance with safety standards. Candidates should have a high school diploma, and certification as an Orthopedic Technologist is preferred.

Qualifications

• Certification as an Orthopedic Technologist (OTC) or Cast Technician preferred.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in an orthopedic or related clinical setting preferred.
• Knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy, fracture management, and orthopedic immobilization techniques.

Responsibilities

• Apply, adjust, and remove orthopedic casts, splints, and braces.
• Educate patients on proper cast care and hygiene.
• Assist physicians with wound care and other procedures.
