Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 8 Med/Surg Unit at St. Marys Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, CO. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, coordinating with the health team and ensuring adherence to protocols.

The role requires an accredited nursing degree and RN licensure in the state. BSN completion within 4 years is expected unless exempt by tenure; relocation assistance may be offered for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• RN with ASN/ADN must complete BSN within four years from hire unless 15+ years RN experience.
• Exemption rules apply for certain legacy employer units.

Responsibilities

• Assess, recognize, and address patients' psychological and physical needs.
• Foster quality of care with patients' and families' best interests in mind.
• Communicate compassionately and effectively.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
• Oversee care by LPNs and/or CNAs; participate in clinical team conferences.
