Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking an Orientation Trainer for the 3rd shift to support Human Resources in onboarding new hires, schedule training classes, prepare orientation materials, present courses, and measure training effectiveness.

The role focuses on ensuring programs run smoothly, with emphasis on measuring outcomes and maintaining effective training operations. Requires HS diploma; plant environment willingness; MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED; an Associate degree or two years of college in Communications/HR preferred but not required; experience may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Administer, track, and evaluate all New Hire Orientation and Onboarding training.
• Supervise new-hires during the training period and advise management/HR regarding training needs.
• Develop positive working relationships with new hires, peers, leaders and clients.
• Review training materials with trainers, supervisors, HR, and Benefits coordinators.
• Schedule and coordinate training for multiple sessions.
• Organize training venues, logistics, and equipment.
• Participate on HR & company committees.
• Help track compliance and results of orientation with Excellence Coordinators and HR.
• Assist HR with yearly training of all employees.
• All other duties as assigned.
