Qualifications

• Master’s degree required and teaching licensure program.
• Colorado Special Services license with E.S.M. endorsement required.
• Experience with visually impaired students preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop O&M evaluations for new referrals and IDEA timelines.
• Create classroom materials and lesson plans modeling O&M techniques.
• Implement individualized programs within the general curriculum.
• Provide instruction in braille, assistive tech, and sensory skills as part of Expanded Core Curriculum.
• Establish orientation and travel strategies for safe independent mobility.
• Maintain documentation of student progress and IEP-related goals.
