Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Orientation & Mobility or related field.
• Certification in Orientation & Mobility (ACVREP or NBPCB).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with individuals with visual impairments in educational settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess students' orientation and mobility needs.
• Design and implement individualized instruction plans.
• Teach safe travel skills, cane techniques, spatial orientation, and route planning.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student progress.
• Provide training in assistive technology and devices as needed.
• Document and report student progress and outcomes.
