Job summary

The University of La Verne is seeking an Orientation Student Assistant 2 for ULV undergraduates only. This on-campus, part-time role supports SOAR and Orientation Week programming, coordinating Orientation Leaders and assist with scheduling, training, and recruitment tasks.

Ideal candidates are traditional undergraduates with a minimum 2.5 GPA, prior Orientation Leader experience, and a commitment to completing mandatory trainings and events across fall, winter, spring, and summer.

Qualifications

• Must be a traditional undergraduate student during the 2026-2027 academic year.
• Must be a previous Orientation Leader (rehire).
• GPA must be 2.5 or above and not on probation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and plan social activities during SOAR Orientation program.
• Assist with implementation of Transfer Orientation programs.
• Recruit and select Orientation Leaders (OWLs).
• Provide training, guidance, and support to Orientation Leaders.
• Assist with scheduling tasks and budget planning.
