Job summary

Saint Leo University is seeking an Orientation Leader to help new students and their families transition to campus life. OLs serve as university representatives, lead discussion groups, and assist in NSO planning and event execution.

Training starts on campus 1.5 to 2 weeks before the new semester, with additional documents required for consideration. The role emphasizes engagement with faculty and staff to ensure NSO success, and candidates should demonstrate reliability, communication skills,

Qualifications

• Must maintain minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA.
• Current full-time student status.
• Maintain good judicial standing.
• Passion for helping others in student outreach.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, with leadership and followership.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Reliability, creativity, stamina, flexibility/adaptability, punctuality.
• Ability to relate to diverse groups including students, parents, faculty and staff.
• Positive attitude and sense of humor.
• Ability to work under limited supervision.
• Willingness to work long hours (10-15 hrs) including early/late shifts.
• Able to handle constructive criticism.
• Familiarity with Saint Leo programs and services.
