Job summary

Delta Dental of Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana is seeking a Benefits Administrator in Okemos (hybrid). You will plan, develop, and administer employee benefit plans across Delta Dental affiliates, ensuring regulatory compliance and alignment with strategic goals.

Responsibilities include partnering with HRIS and vendors, designing policies, forecasting expenditures, and mentoring the total rewards team while delivering clear communications to employees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field and at least seven years of HR experience.
• Experience in project leadership, compensation or benefits administration.
• Professional HR, compensation and/or benefits certification preferred.
• Workday experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Researches, analyzes, designs, evaluates, and administers employee benefit plans and programs.
• Ensures programs support the organization’s strategic objectives and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Designs, evaluates, and modifies employment and benefit policies to remain current and compliant.
• Mentors, leads, and acts as a resource for others within the total rewards team; partners with HRIS and vendors.
