Trusted Fraternal Life is seeking an Organization Development & Learning Specialist to transform business needs into practical learning, leadership and organizational solutions. This hands-on role spans learning, OD, change, and onboarding, partnering with HR and leaders to create scalable tools and experiences for associates.

Success requires strong OD and L&D expertise, curiosity, creativity and execution focus—able to shape approaches and drive implementation with data and technology.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Learning & Development, Organizational Psychology, Education, Business or related field.
  • 4–6 years of relevant experience in organizational development, learning and development, talent management, change management or related discipline.
  • Experience designing, developing and facilitating learning or organizational development solutions.
  • Knowledge of adult learning, OD and change management principles and practices.
  • Experience supporting leadership development, talent processes, onboarding or associate development is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Identify organizational, leadership and workforce capability needs and translate them into practical learning and development solutions.
  • Design, develop and facilitate learning experiences for leaders and associates using a variety of delivery approaches.
  • Create practical learning tools, resources, guides and development experiences for organization-wide use.
  • Support organizational change and transformation initiatives using practical change management and OD approaches.
  • Partner with HR leadership and business leaders to identify organizational effectiveness needs and develop interventions.
  • Help build and continuously improve talent practices, including leadership development, performance and development processes, talent reviews, succession and associate development.
  • Strengthen onboarding and key moments in the associate experience through learning, communication and OD practices.
  • Leverage HR systems, learning technology and digital tools to deliver and scale talent and learning solutions.

About This Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to help build the organizational and talent capabilities that will support TFL's Strategy 2030 vision. We're seeking an Organization Development & Learning Specialist who enjoys turning business needs into practical learning, leadership and organizational solutions—and then rolling up their sleeves to make them happen.

This is a hands-on builder role spanning learning and development, organizational development, change, leadership and associate development, onboarding and other talent practices. You'll partner closely with leaders and HR colleagues to create tools and experiences that are practical, scalable and meaningful for our associates.

Success in this role requires strong OD and learning expertise, curiosity, creativity and an execution mindset—someone equally comfortable shaping an approach and doing the detailed work to bring it to life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify organizational, leadership and workforce capability needs and translate them into practical learning and development solutions.
  • Design, develop and facilitate learning experiences for leaders and associates using a variety of delivery approaches.
  • Create practical learning tools, resources, guides and development experiences that can be readily used across the organization.
  • Support organizational change and transformation initiatives using practical change management and organizational development approaches.
  • Partner with HR leadership and business leaders to identify organizational effectiveness needs and develop appropriate interventions.
  • Help build and continuously improve talent practices, including leadership development, performance and development processes, talent review, succession and associate development.
  • Strengthen onboarding and key moments in the associate experience through learning, communication and organizational development practices.
  • Leverage HR systems, learning technology and digital tools to deliver, scale and continuously improve talent and learning solutions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Learning & Development, Organizational Psychology, Education, Business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Approximately 4-6 years of relevant experience in organizational development, learning and development, talent management, change management or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience designing, developing and facilitating learning or organizational development solutions.
  • Working knowledge of adult learning, organizational development and change management principles and practices.
  • Experience supporting leadership development, talent processes, onboarding or associate development strongly preferred.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, project management and relationship‑building skills.
  • Comfort using learning technology and digital tools; curiosity about emerging technology and AI applications in learning and talent practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work through ambiguity and independently move practical solutions forward.

The role requires curiosity, agility and enough OD/L&D expertise to bring informed recommendations while remaining highly practical and execution focused.
