Job summary

Mercor is seeking a hands-on practitioner in organic growth/SEO to design and pressure-test simulated work environments for evaluating AI agents on marketing tasks.

You will specify required documents, dashboards, personas, and tool states, and write reference answers with evaluation criteria. Expect to review agent attempts, diagnose data, and drive multi-tool workflows with QA and escalation as needed.

Qualifications

• Hands-on practitioner experience in organic growth or SEO/AEO.
• Clear written reasoning and ability to explain decisions.
• Fluent in the tools of the domain: GA4, GSC, Semrush/Ahrefs, and a CMS such as Contentful.

Responsibilities

• Design task briefs drawn from actual organic growth work, specifying what is tested.
• Specify documents, dashboards, personas and tool states required.
• Write or review reference answers and criteria for strong vs. plausible responses.
• Review AI agent attempts and judge against your standard.
• Diagnose data, prioritize work, plan and execute across tools.
• QA, reconciliation, triage and escalation as part of multi-step tasks.
