Job summary

Mercor, based in New York, builds high-fidelity simulated work environments to evaluate AI agents on real marketing workflows, from email to CRM, analytics and lifecycle campaigns.

You will help design and pressure-test the Lifecycle environments: briefs, artifacts, judgment calls, and the planted problems a strong practitioner should solve.

Responsibilities span diagnosing data, prioritizing tradeoffs, planning, QA, triage, and orchestration across multiple tools.

Qualifications

• Hands-on practitioner in lifecycle, CRM, or retention marketing.
• Experience owning sending programs and incrementality.
• Familiar with ESPs, Salesforce, and Amplitude.
• Experience building AI training environments, RL environments, or simulated case studies preferred.
• Rubric Academy or Rubric Bootcamp certification preferred.
• Clear written reasoning is valued.

Responsibilities

• Design task briefs drawn from lifecycle/CRM marketing work, including what the task tests and the decision expected.
• Specify documents, dashboards, personas and tool states required for the task.
• Write or review reference answers and the criteria separating strong from plausible-but-wrong responses.
• Review AI agent attempts and judge them against your standards.
