HII's Newport News Shipbuilding seeks a seasoned professional to design and implement development training programs aimed at boosting manager effectiveness and team productivity. You will assess business issues and craft organization development plans, guiding reengineering efforts and advising on team design and performance.
The role involves coaching managers on leadership skills, using ADDIE-aligned methodologies and experiential learning techniques to deliver impactful learning experiences.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and 6 years exempt experience; Master's Degree and 4 years exempt experience.
- NNS Apprentice School graduate
- NNPS graduate
- Associate's Degree or 2-year program + 2 years exempt or 4 years non-exempt experience
- Military Paygrade E-5 or above
- High School/GED with 4 years combined of Manufacturing/Shipbuilding/Military experience (exempt)
- High School/GED with 8 years combined of Manufacturing/Shipbuilding/Military experience (non-exempt)
Responsabilités
- Designs and implements development training programs to enhance managers and teams.
- Assesses critical business issues and designs organization development and strategic plans.
- Facilitates reengineering and/or reorganization efforts.
- Advises on team design and performance.
- Provides development, coaching and training managers on leadership skills.
