Job summary

Newport News Shipbuilding is seeking a program designer to create and implement development training for managers and teams. The role focuses on improving organization productivity and customer satisfaction through effective onboarding and leadership development.

You will assess business issues, guide reengineering efforts, and advise on team design while delivering coaching to leaders across the organization. Occasional hybrid telework is available and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; 3 years of exempt experience or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Designs and implements development training programs to enhance manager and team effectiveness
• Assesses critical business issues and designs organization development and strategic plans
• Facilitates reengineering or reorganization efforts and advises on team design and performance
• Provides coaching and training to managers on leadership skills
• Supports onboarding programs and new hire orientation
