Riviana Foods Inc. in Houston, TX seeks a Customer Service Representative to process, release, prepare documentation, and invoice orders for domestic and export shipments under the Order Service Supervisor.

Responsibilities include verifying orders for weight, pricing, and promotions, communicating discrepancies to brokers and Sales Administration, creating outbound deliveries for EDI to 3PLs, and monitoring on‑time shipments while supporting the Operations Planning team.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree or 3–5+ years of work experience with domestic shipments.
• Data entry experience with Order Service, SAP, and EDI is a plus.
• Experience coordinating with plants on production schedules.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to interface with disciplines within the company, distribution centers, brokers, customers, and others.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent team skills.
• Ability to multi-task and follow up on open work issues.
• Are comfortable working in an office environment and using standard office equipment.

Mansioni

• Processes, releases, prepares documentation packages, and invoices orders for shipments.
• Verifies order parameters (weight, pricing, promotions, lead-time) and communicates discrepancies to management.
• Creates outbound deliveries for EDI transmission to 3PLs.
• Reviews billing due lists for pricing and brokerage accuracy.
• Monitors on-time shipments and resolves delivery issues.
• Advises Planning teams of upcoming promotion volumes.
• Collaborates with Operations Planning to resolve stock shortages.
• Communicates product availability to brokers and customers.
• Submits new customer master record requests.
